We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Risk Executive to join our team. The Risk Executive will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and advising on the safety protocols and risk management strategies for all leisure activities within the park including ziplining, quad biking, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment & Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections of all activity areas (zipline, quad bikes, etc.) to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend improvements or safety measures to minimize risks.
- Perform routine checks of equipment, facilities, and activity zones to ensure proper maintenance and safety.
Safety Protocols & Procedures:
- Assist in the implementation, and update of safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all activities.
- Advise on best practices for activity execution, focusing on safety and risk mitigation.
Incident Management:
- Investigate any accidents or near-misses and ensure they are documented, analyzed, and appropriate corrective actions are taken.
- Review incident reports and provide recommendations for improving safety standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on industry safety regulations, standards, and legal requirements for adventure activities.
- Ensure the park adheres to local and international safety standards for outdoor adventure activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Safety, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in a risk management or safety role, preferably in the leisure or outdoor adventure industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for adventure activities such as ziplining, quad biking, and more.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess risks effectively and make sound decisions.
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
