Retail Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Supervisor for our Gourmet Food Store who will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff schedules, and implementing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:

   • Supervise, train, and mentor retail staff to enhance performance and ensure adherence to company standards.
   • Schedule staff shifts to optimize coverage and meet customer demand.

2. Customer Service:

   • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service by monitoring interactions and addressing any issues that arise.
   • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
   • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business.

3. Sales and Inventory Management:

   • Implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
   • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and ensure accurate inventory records.
   • Assist in visual merchandising to promote products effectively and enhance the shopping experience.

4. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with management to align store operations with corporate objectives.
   • Collaborate with other teams to support promotional activities and inventory flow.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or retail management is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in retail sales or supervisory positions.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
