DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for dealing with clients’ bookings and quotes, i.e. accommodation, transfers, groups booking and cancellation.
- Work in close collaboration with the COO and the Group Sales&Marketing Manager to design proper strategies for the long term vision of the Hotel.
- Day to day process of bookings, update and amendments.
- Issue invoices for agencies and ensure that payments are received timely.
- All bookings to be precisely verified before confirming to clients.
- All invoices to be verified accurately as per rates.
- Handle requests within the next 24 hours.
- Ensure that clients’ requests and needs are well understood and respected at all times.
- Ensure that all the operational standards set for all the processes are followed
- Responsible for the Checking of correct application of rates/Offers
- Responding to all customers in a highly professional manner, including ensuring all bookings are completed accurately to the customer’s needs.
- Managing room inventory
- Upselling hotel rooms
- Follow up with the accounts team for all payment reference.
- Take note of guest preference at reservation time and communicate to the respective department
- Prepare reports requested by the Chief Operations Officer
- Preparation of VIP list
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum HSC/NC3/any Hotel Management programme
- Minimum 8-10 years of Experience in the reservation department in the Hotel Industry is compulsory
- Ability to Manage a team
- Excellent knowledge of Fidelio System
- Good customer service.
- Excellent communication and good planning skills.
