Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa is looking for a recruitment and expat management officer to join its HR Team!

 

Job duties & responsibilities:

-Recruitment of Expatriates from Selection to Employment.

-New application and Renewal of Work permit / Residence Permit including vetting of contract and provisional health clearance.

-Application for Occupational Permit for Economic Development Board.

-Application for Bank Guarantee and Affidavit.

-Constant Communication with Ministry of Labour and Passport Office.

-To manage expat grievances and Manage queries and complaints efficiently and effectively.

-To manage the dormitory in line with the Company’s policies and existing legislation.

-To lead the application and renewal of the Lodging and Accommodation Permit for dormitories including the Fire & Health Clearance.

-Ensure Safety and Health of the occupants at the dormitory.

-Provide reports related to expatriate Labour management.

-Good knowledge of the updated Labour Laws and Remuneration Order.

-Keeping a Expat Recruitment Tracker for follow-up.

-Identifying  hiring needs and collaborating with hods to collect a list of requirements.

-Attracting suitable candidates and screening of the profiles.

-Conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions.

-Doing reference checks of the candidates.

-Onboarding of new recruits.

-Keeping up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.

-Providing recruitment reports to HR Teams.

-Assist the HR Department with administrative tasks.

 

Requirements:

-Proven work experience as HR & Expat Officer for at least 2  years’ experience 

-Hands-on experience with HR and recruitment databases

-Bachelor's degree in Management , HR or equivalent experience

-Experience working with resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets

-Experience building and executing recruiting strategy

-Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills

-Strong decision-making skills

-Have excellent problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills.
