🔎 About the Role

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our valued guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring their stay is seamless and memorable. This is an exciting opportunity to represent RIU’s exceptional hospitality and professionalism in a luxury setting.

💼 What You’ll Do

  • Provide a Warm Welcome: Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay, delivering the high level of service expected at a five-star all-inclusive hotel.
  • Handle Guest Queries: Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
  • Coordinate Room Assignments: Efficiently manage room bookings, allocations, and changes to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Offer Local Expertise: Provide guests with information about the hotel, facilities, and local attractions, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Handle Financial Transactions: Process payments accurately, including room charges, deposits, and billing, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food & beverage, to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain Reception Standards: Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and inviting at all times.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

  • Customer Service Excellence: Previous experience in front office or customer service roles, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: A professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and French is required, with proficiency in additional languages being a significant advantage.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with front office systems and hotel management software is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving Attitude: A proactive approach to addressing guest concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
