Reconciliation and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
- Provide an up-to-date ageing report and calculate receivables days monthly.
- Perform monthly inter-company reconciliations within due dates, ensuring completeness of transactions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve unreconciled items (payments/invoices) and discrepancies.
- Report monthly summaries of inward funds.
- Compute Expected Credit Loss (ECL) workings as per IFRS 9.
Know Your Customer (KYC) Procedures:
- Maintain appropriate records of KYC documents.
- Ensure proper activation of clients on the accounting module.
Customer Invoicing and Billing:
- Collaborate with the Logistics department to ensure completeness of sales for each financial period and account for any adjustments.
- Prepare and send reminder letters for outstanding payments as required.
- Implement due dates on the ageing report according to established payment terms.
- Issue and process sales and debit notes.
Receipts Processing:
- Request remittance details and process inward funds promptly.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment of advance payments received and follow up on final invoices and payment allocations.
Customer Account Management:
- Follow up with debtors by sending regular ageing reports and general ledgers to facilitate payment collection.
- Escalate delinquent accounts to management when necessary.
Other Responsibilities:
- Execute any other duties as may be required by management in line with business needs.

- Proficient in MS Office and financial databases
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the African market is an advantage
Qualifications & Experience:
- Partly ACCA Qualified - Level 1/2.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience of working in a similar position.
- Professional certification
- Prior experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and customer account management.
