Reporting to the Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role, collaborating with Design and Product to deliver innovative solutions. What you’ll get to do 

• Collaboration & Solution Engineering: We're not just handing you requirements; you'll be a key problem-solver! This role demands a full-fledged engineering approach, where you'll partner directly with Design and Product to deeply understand user needs and craft robust front-end solutions. From concept to implementation, you'll actively shape the design process, bringing your technical expertise to the table. Using modern front-end technologies, especially React, you'll build exciting new features and enhance existing ones, making a tangible impact on our product.
• Accessibility & Best Practices: You'll champion web accessibility (WCAG), ensuring our products are inclusive and usable by everyone. You'll also be a driving force for front-end best practices, promoting code quality, performance optimization, and robust security measures.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: You'll be a technical leader, staying ahead of the curve with the latest front-end trends, including emerging technologies and frameworks. Proactively identify and tackle technical challenges, shaping the team's technical direction. Your expertise will be crucial in upskilling the team's React capabilities, empowering them to become confident problem-solvers and make sound technical decisions.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests, ensuring code quality and reliability. Collaborate with test engineers and other developers to build and implement automated testing strategies and frameworks. Conduct thorough code reviews, sharing best practices and elevating the team's overall quality.
• Architecture & Scalability: Help us build for the future! Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable front-end architectures, leveraging your understanding of CI/CD pipeline, micro front-end and microservices concepts. A strong understanding of NPM packaging (creation, publishing, dependency management) is essential.
• Project Ownership and Delivery: Go beyond coding! You'll be involved in the full project lifecycle, contributing to project planning, risk assessment, task breakdown, and assignment. Take ownership of your projects and deliver high-quality results, influencing project direction, gaining broader software development experience, and demonstrating your autonomy and accountability

Skills and experience we value 

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development ( with at least 3 years in react development)
• Proven track record of building and deploying high-performance and scalable web applications
• Strong proficiency  of HTML5, CSS3, typescript , ES6+ and responsive design principles.
• Experience with back-end development technologies (e.g., Node.js) is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for front-end applications.
• Understanding of common web application security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
