Ekium AMIO Ltd is a growing engineering company based in Mauritius and part of the French EKIUM Group, a world leader in engineering design.
As a Quality, Health, and Safety (QHSE) Officer at EKIUM AMIO, you will play a key role in supporting the QHSE manager and ensuring the company's compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and Implement Procedures: Assist in setting up and formalizing procedures and forms to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Document Management: Ensure proper registration and organization of QHSE-related documents.
- Welcome Booklet: Assist in drafting and updating the company’s welcome booklet to ensure it aligns with the company's QHSE policies.
- Employee Onboarding: Collaborate with department managers to formalize and improve the employee onboarding process.
- Monitor Indicators: Help monitor and report on monthly QHSE indicators, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- QHSE Culture Development: Support the QHSE manager in fostering a strong quality, health, and safety culture throughout the organization.
- Compliance and Audits: Assist with internal audits and compliance checks to ensure that all processes align with QHSE standards.
Requirements:
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015: Familiarity with the ISO 9001:2015 reference system and its requirements.
- Administrative Skills: Strong skills in document management and the ability to work with managers to formalize internal processes.
- QHSE Knowledge: A good understanding of quality, health, and safety standards and best practices.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken French and English is essential.
- Tech Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
