QUALITY ASSURANCE CONTROLLER - BEACHCOMBER CATERING

Beachcomber Catering is looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Controller to join their Food Safety Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist in the day to day running of the Quality Assurance department.
• To assist in the monitoring and verification of the food safety/quality management system.
• Participate in food quality assessment
• Conduct food safety inspections and food quality controls
• Carry out verification of food thermometers and gauge thermometers
• Carry out verification of records pertaining to food safety and quality
• Assist in the daily tasks of the Quality Assurance Department
• Assist in maintaining the halal assurance system

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Technology or equivalent qualifications.

 PROFILE                                                                                                                    

• Ready to perform odd hours of work, including Sundays, Public Holidays and cyclonic days
•  Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) at all levels and functions
•  Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
