QA/ Test Analyst

The QA Test Analyst will have to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions via development, testing or support activities and is also actively involved in providing support to junior team members via reviewing and coaching activities if required.

Essential Functions

·         Essential Duties:

o    Apply technical knowledge, skills and expertise to provide development, testing or support service to clients and customers

o    Achieve delivery of core/customized products in accordance with agreed schedules, procedures and standard Review deliverables of junior team members if required

o    Accurate recording of time, effort and schedule related activities via trackers

o    Good communication skills to achieve excellent customer service

o    Escalate if needed, on risks/issues identified which impact project delivery schedule

o    Take ownership and do follow up on project/s assigned

·         Testing

o    Work efficiently on testing tasks

o    Update and maintain test cases / scripts

o    Maintain test databases, test data for use in testing

o    Provide estimates on test activities

o    Execute test cases/scripts as per plan, record test results

o    Conduct regression testing and retest failure scenarios

o    Log defects appropriately so that corrective actions may be taken

o    Understand testing framework as applied in a development center

Educational / Skill / Experience Requirements

·         Education

o    Degree holder in IT

o    At least 2-4 years’ experience in software development, testing or support environment.

o    Testing Skills,

o    Conversant Microsoft Test Manager /TFS or similar product

o    Knowledge of SQL

o    Knowledge of Agile

o    Knowledge of automation scripts would be an advantage

·         Skill/Experience:

o    Analytical and problem solving skills

o    Proven Knowledge of process methodology

o    Experience in software development concepts and lifecycles

o    English Communication, Verbal and Written

o    Team Player/Focus

o    Adaptability and Flexibility

Essential for this position

o    Availability to travel to Europe
