Seeking a skilled Project Officer to oversee sustainable park development. Requires project management skills, AutoCAD proficiency, and a passion for nature. Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, and team collaboration.

 

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Officer, who will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing infrastructure and activities that enhance our park's appeal to visitors. The main responsibilities will include project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and coordination of activities related to park development and enrichment.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for designing park infrastructure and activities.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources.

Infrastructure and Activities Design:

  • Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and activity specialists to conceptualize and plan park infrastructure and engaging activities that align with the natural environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas for immersive and sustainable park experiences.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with park management, environmental experts, construction teams, and other stakeholders to align project objectives with the park's mission and vision.
  • Promote effective communication and knowledge sharing among project team members.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Assist in managing project budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation for infrastructure and activity development.
  • Coordinate procurement of necessary materials, equipment, and services to support project goals.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, design blueprints, progress reports, and environmental impact assessments.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and milestones.

Sustainability and Nature Integration:

  • Promote and implement environmentally sustainable practices in park infrastructure and activity design.
  • Ensure that projects align with the park's commitment to nature conservation.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering , Environmental Design, Project Management).
  • Experience in project management, particularly in infrastructure and activity design or related fields.
  • Highly proficient with AutoCAD.  Ability to work with BIM/ Revit will be an advantage.
  • Strong passion for nature, environmental sustainability, and innovative design.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
