JOB PURPOSE
The job incumbent will be responsible for the planning, development and successful implementation of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Development Manager in the day to day duties of project management and work closely under his guidance and direction
- Participate in preparing and executing the company's projects
- Assist in the planning of resources needed for projects
- Monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of project resources
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones
- Prepare budget proposals and monitor assigned budgets for the different projects
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, document meetings and presentations
- Act as a liaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Assist the Development Manager in managing change in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plan
- Any other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Diploma in Civil, Structural, Building Services Engineering or Quantity Surveying or Project Management (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in project management or facilities management or a related field.
- Proficiency MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or SketchUp for reviewing and editing technical drawings would be an advantage
- Flexibility to handle both on-site and office-based responsibilities.
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex schedules and multiple tasks effectively.
