Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in reviewing and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for alignment, feasibility, and coordination.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure tasks are aligned with the project timeline and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones, tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Technical Oversight and Site Support:
- Conduct detailed site visits and inspections to verify adherence to technical drawings and project specifications.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with design standards, safety protocols, and resource deployment plans.
- Monitor the implementation of technical aspects of the project, including quality control, material specifications, and adherence to approved designs.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and technical records.
- Track and coordinate the snagging/desnagging process, ensuring issues are documented and resolved promptly.
- Support the preparation and review of testing and commissioning documentation to ensure compliance with project standards.
- Technical Liaison and Training:
- Act as a technical point of contact between clients, contractors, and project teams, ensuring effective communication and resolution of technical queries.
- Facilitate operator training on technical systems and ensure proper handover of facility documentation.
- Technology and Tools Management:
- Utilize AutoCAD to review and make necessary modifications to project drawings.
- Employ software tools like MS Project to manage schedules, track progress, and prepare detailed technical reports.
- Maintain and organize digital records of technical drawings and project data for easy access and future reference.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Educational Background:
- Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing and editing technical drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Skills and Attributes:
- Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex schedules and multiple tasks effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Technically adept at identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Teamwork: Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
