We are looking for a dynamic and organized Production Officer to join our team. The Production Officer will play a critical role in overseeing various aspects of our production process, from managing daily operations to driving innovation and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

 

Job Description:

- Supervise and lead production staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Execute and monitor daily production planning to meet targets and deadlines. Track productivity and yield, implementing strategies for improvement as needed.
- Maintain rigorous quality control measures throughout the production process and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), comparing actual performance against budgeted targets to identify trends and areas of optimization.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new products, from proposal to project follow-up. Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
- Actively participate in the implementation of new projects and processes. Contribute ideas and insights to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Oversee the utilization of the ERP system within the production department.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support the development of new projects and distribution channels.
- Manage procurement activities for fresh fruits and vegetables, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.Cultivate relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and maintain product quality.

Profile:

- Minimum  Degree in Food Safety, Management or equivalent.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive results.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

- Effective communication  and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in team and encourage participation of team members.
- Proven experience production management or pack house would be an advantage
- Self Starter.
- Ability to adapt and respond to change.

- Microsoft Office Skills (well versed with Microsoft Excel)
