Production Engineer

To continuously revisit existing production processes and provide innovative ideas to improve production efficiency.

Reporting to the Factory Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the production unit for wooden works
Schedule and plan production in the factory and ensure delivery dates are met
Analyze and improve manufacturing techniques and methods to increase efficiency and avoid wastage
Optimize factory production time to minimize costs
Record production time and duration for analysis and optimization
Identify loopholes in production processes and take remedial actions
Manage and motivate workshop personnel effectively to ensure smooth running of operations
Implement reliable control measures and root-cause analysis to avoid rework
Plan and monitor procurement and quality of materials for the factory
Supervise factory progress and quality of works on production floor
Manage the pricing of works with the assistance of the Estimator

Qualifications & Experience:

BSc Production management/engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience acquired in a contracting or manufacturing environment
