Procurement Officer

Premix Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the United Basalt Products Ltd, is looking to recruit a Procurement Officer to lead the procurement functions, handle daily activities and negotiate terms & conditions with vendors and/or service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare formal bid documents for items and services for the purpose of ensuring that materials are in compliance with local regulation and group policy
• Ensure that the procurement process is as per the established procedures.
• Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and equipment
• Forward to supplier and to department originating request
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received
• Follow-up of pending purchase orders
• Create and maintain purchasing files and price lists
• Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents
• Submit all purchase orders, goods received note and signed invoices to the accounting and finance department at each end of month
• Follow up on all pending purchase orders before submitting to Accounts & Finance department
• Maintain the suppliers’ master database
• Issue service level agreements and ensure maintenance of the SLA
• Collaborate in the physical stock take exercise
• Ensure proper update on software is made
