Summary
The Asset Coordinator will be responsible for vendor and contract management of existing and new deals, implementations and issue resolutions. Regular contact with the global team for succession planning.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintenance of a portfolio of contracts and assets, including set up of asset database
- Vendor management of the related suppliers, including clean-up of portfolio which includes contract gap analyses
- Receipt and/or handover of new contracts upon signature for implementation and ongoing management
- Management of true up/true down processes in line with the existing contracts.
- Review, renewal and retirement of assets as part of asset lifecycle management
- Manage discovery and preparation of RFP/RFI/RFQ as required using the approved Procurement toolkit documentation and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Support the implementation of procurement strategies that optimize the cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services
- Manage procurement process for goods and services, including vendor selection, price negotiation, and contract management to achieve the best value for the organization.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to support business goals and objectives.
- Liaise with the Vendor Management team to ensure continuity of supply/service and risk management of strategic contracts, ensuring that the delivery matches the objectives and deliverables in the contract schedules.
- Supervise execution of Asset management programs (mobile, hardware, software, car lease, printers)
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, CIPS or supply chain management, finance, or a related discipline
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience and a demonstrated ability to manage strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management skills
- Sound financial analytical skills and a good understanding of contract law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Awareness of regulation and legislation on the markets involved.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team/hybrid environment.
- A proven team player with impeccable attention to detail and the ability to prioritise deliverables aligned with organisational strategy.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Completely literate in the English language, with an advanced level in one of the European languages is a plus.
