Plant & Logistic Clerk (2516-PLC)

Our client in the Mechanical and Structural Engineering is seeking to recruit a dynamic Plant and Logistic Clerk who will report to the Senior Logistic Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Liaison with police/authorities and Escort the company cranes during transfers.
• Ensure renewal of Maintenance Contracts and Certificates.
• Request for Quote from Suppliers and issue Purchase Quotations as per requests received.
• Ensure proper record of Petty Cash receipts.
• Data Input on our ERP software (SAP Business One), namely creating Service Calls for Vehicle, Equipment and Crane and "Equipment Cards" for Existing and New Tool/ Equipment.
• Ensure all tools, equipment and vehicles are readily available and safe for use and certificates/permits are updated.
• Renewal of all applicable licences: Road tax, Insurance & Fitness.
• Perform any other cognate duties incumbent upon a job holder of the same category.

Profile:

• Higher School Certificate.
• A Diploma in Logistics would be a plus.
• Minimun of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge in SAP.
• Team Spirit.
• Details oriented.
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
• Extrovert.
