Leal & Co Ltd is hiring a Payroll Officer.
MAIN PURPOSE:
- Process and administer the monthly payroll for the Group's Business Units assigned to the officer.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Collect/retrieve approved payroll data at daily/weekly/monthly intervals, input relevant entries and update the payroll database whilst observing strict adherence to Payroll processes and procedures.
- Administer the payroll for new hires and leavers in line with the established on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.
- Prepare and submit payroll verification and control reports prior to finalising the monthly pay.
- Maintain a proper filing for all documents related to Payroll and always ensure confidentiality.
- Assist the Payroll Lead in processing employee benefits and performing other compensation and reward initiatives such as Salary Benchmarks, yearly compensation budgets and salary reviews.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a diploma in HR and/or Accounting or any other relevant qualification
- At least 3 years proven experience in a similar post
- Hands on experience with an HRIS and Payroll software (Sicorax will be a definite advantage)
- A sound knowledge of the local Labour and tax Legislation
