Pattern Maker/ Marker

Ideal candidates will be well-presented, proactive, conscientious and able to work well on their own. They will also be excellent team players with the right emphasis on team success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in efficient marker making
• Sampling and Production Process
• Develop size sets for sample designs
• Interprets the client’s designs in the form of the garment components
• Test all aspects of the patterns by making and fitting sample garments, including but not limited to outlined parts to be joined, positions of pleats, pockets, buttonholes, and other features
• Generate master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes by using both grading software and instruments as well as manual drafting and charting
• Optimise layout of pattern pieces to minimise waste of material, considering all the fabric variants
• Produce guide lines for markings on materials or work piece
