About Us: Petro Contracting Ltd is a leading player in the oil and gas industry, committed to safety, innovation, and sustainability. We are seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing projects.

Job Summary: The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing tanker operations, bunker operations, and various job and project operations within the industry. This role ensures that all processes are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. The Operations Coordinator will collaborate with different teams to ensure efficient and safe project execution.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
    • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  2. Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
    • Promote a strong HSE culture within Petro Contracting Ltd.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving in areas such as Tanker Discharge, Bunker Operations, Maintenance Work, Equipment Installation, or any other job in our field of work.
    • Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
    • Monthly Report to the Management and Director on the evolution of the operations.
  4. Collaboration:
    • Work with cross-functional teams including directors, managers, supervisors, and operators.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout project phases.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  6. Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain project reports, documentation, and records.
    • Ensure timely reporting and documentation to regulatory bodies.
  7. Administration:
    • Follow up with customers and suppliers on all administrative aspects.
    • Optimise resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education / Certification: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Diploma, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software.
    • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
