Lead FATCA, CRS, and QI reporting as an Operational Tax Compliance Officer, driving global tax compliance excellence and aligning with business goals.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operational Tax Compliance Officer to join our client's growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the firm's operational tax reporting obligations across multiple regimes, including FATCA, CRS, and QI. You'll play a key role in ensuring the firm meets its international tax reporting requirements while supporting internal teams with high-quality data and insights.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in financial services-ideally from an operations, finance, or compliance function-who is looking to build deeper expertise in global tax compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

●Lead the preparation and submission of FATCA, CRS, and QI reports for the firm's equity brokerage business.
●Coordinate closely with the company's tax advisors (T-Consult) to ensure all regulatory filings are accurate and submitted on time.
●Monitor IRS deadlines and ensure that all required filings and payments are completed in a timely and compliant manner.
●Liaise across internal departments— including operations, finance, and compliance to gather required data and ensure consistency in reporting.
●Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in support of all submissions and audits.
●Contribute to process improvements, automation, and control frameworks related to tax reporting.

Experience:
●2-5 years of relevant experience in financial services, ideally in an operational, finance, or compliance role.
●Exposure to brokerage operations and/or securities processing (e.g., dividends, corporate actions) is highly desirable.

Knowledge:
● Solid understanding of FATCA and CRS requirements.
● Familiarity with Qualified Intermediary (QI) reporting is a strong advantage, but not essential.
● Awareness of international tax reporting standards and related controls.

Technical Skills:
●Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic data analysis.
●Experience working with databases or reporting tools is a plus.
●Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., VB, Python) would be beneficial but is not required

Personal Attributes:
●High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
●Comfortable handling large datasets and working across multiple internal stakeholders.
●Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership of complex reporting tasks.

Why Join ?
You'll be joining a team that is committed to excellence, with an opportunity to take ownership of a core function and shape how operational tax reporting is delivered. Our client support continuous learning and offer a dynamic environment where your input is valued.
