We are currently looking for a motivated Officer - Corporate Services to join our dynamic team. In this exciting position, your main responsibility will be to manage on a daily basis a portfolio of companies respectively, under the supervision of the senior team members.

 

We are currently looking for a motivated Officer - Corporate Services to join our dynamic team.
In this exciting position, your main responsibility will be to manage on a daily basis a portfolio of companies respectively, under the supervision of the senior team members.
What you will do:
• Handle a portfolio of companies, under Corporate - Global Business Licenses, specialised Licenses, Fund structures, under the supervision of senior staff.
• Ensure that clients’ files are compliant with relevant laws of Mauritius and compliance with internal control procedures.
• Assist in executing opening of accounts with institutions (Banks, Custodian, Brokers) including liaison and follow up.
• Assist in the monitoring of operations of the account, wire transfer instruction, any other forms as required by bank and/or clients.
• Prepare directors & shareholders’ resolutions, attend meetings/board meetings and draft minutes of meeting.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, local authorities, banks and other stakeholders, as and when required.

What we are looking for:
• Bachelor in Degree in Law, Law and Management or any related field.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in related fields
Additional competencies that might work in your favour:
• Have a knowledge/understanding of the Mauritian regulatory requirements in the financial industry.
• Be a critical thinker with the ability to effectively execute against action plans and initiatives.
• Be action-oriented with the ability to produce results with a high sense of urgency.
• Have a demonstrated commitment to quality and details in a regulated environment.
• Have a good planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication both written and oral, in French and English.
