Network Engineers (under Trainee Engineer Scheme)

The Trainees shall require to have a learning exposure in our Network Department under the Trainee Engineer Scheme for RAN, TX Datacom, Fiber Rollout and IP network Units for a period of two years.

Main Responsibilities:

•  To plan and design the radio access network, Datacom & Transmission network and Access network & Fiber Rollout as per business requirements
• To ensure proper delivery of network projects as per related units under the network department
• To populate and maintain all related databases
• To prepare reports on technical activities
• To ensure proper and continuous performance monitoring of the Network
• To continuously improve the network KPIs
• Perform drive test for troubleshooting and network assessment
• To assist in fault finding and resolution

Required qualification and experience:

•  Minimum Degree in Telecommunications/ Electronic and Communication Engineering or other related discipline
• Stage 1 Eligibility from CRPE
• Previous experience in network field will be an advantage

Required skills and aptitudes:

•  Familiar with network architecture such as GSM, UMTS and LTE
• Excellent knowledge of Cellular and ISP networks
• Team player with the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Familiar with Microsoft products
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
