Our client, Alteo Agri Ltd, is looking for Merchandisers

Role Overview:

Ensures optimal product display and quality in retail stores, with a top priority on good product rotation using the FIFO method and diligent follow-up on best-before dates to maintain freshness and minimize waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure that all customers are being visited as per scheduled route.
• Ensure shelf placement is optimized for maximum visibility and sales.
• Install and update point-of-sale (POS) materials like wobblers, posters, and banners.
• Set up and maintain in-store displays to ensure attractive and compliant merchandising.

• Monitor retail outlet stock levels, verify product availability, and coordinate restocking efforts.
• Ensure proper product rotation using the First In First Out (FIFO) Method to minimise goods returns.
• Assist the Key Account Executive with the store ordering process.
• Follow-up on deliveries returns and refunds.
• Monitor and report on best before date to the Key Account Team and Sales & Marketing Manager.
• Check for damaged boxes or packaging and ensure only high-quality products are displayed.
• Provide feedback on competitor activities and in-store performance.
• Assist the Key Account Executives for the order taking in outlet.

Profile:

• At least form 4.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the retail sector.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Be solution-driven.
• Possess a valid Motocycle driving license.
• Available to work from Monday to Saturday.
