Mechatronic Engineer

 

CDL Knits Ltd, part of the textile cluster of CIEL Group, is a fully integrated knitting, dyeing and finishing mill which produces textile for the fine knits garment making industry.

We are currently looking for a Mechatronic Engineer to join CDL Knits Ltd.

Mechatronic Engineer

What you will be doing: 

  1. Automation & Robotics: Implement automated systems for processes like knitting, dyeing, finishing, and quality control to reduce manual work and improve precision.
  2. IoT and Connectivity: Install IoT sensors to monitor machines and production lines, allowing real-time tracking of operations, energy usage, and machine health.
  3. Data Analytics & AI: Use data analytics and AI tools to predict maintenance, optimize production schedules, and improve decision-making.
  4. Digitalisation of Processes: Transition to digital workflows and smart manufacturing systems to streamline production, reduce lead times, and improve supply chain transparency.
  5. Sustainability Integration: Focus on energy-efficient technologies, waste reduction, and water management to support sustainability goals and lower the environmental impact.

What are we looking for? 

  1. Bachelor’s engineering in mechatronics or master’s degree in engineering automation
  2. 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, or digital transformation projects would be a definite advantage
  3. Experience in the textile manufacturing industry is a plus.
  4. Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, AI, robotics, and big data analytics.
  5. Proficiency in programming, system integration, and managing automated machinery.
  6. Familiarity with sustainability-driven manufacturing processes.
  7. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  8. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  9. Adaptability and willingness to drive change and innovation.
  10. Passion for digital innovation and a keen interest in transforming traditional manufacturing processes.
  11. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
