Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising departmental activities, assist in developing, defining and reviewing Departmental SOPs; ensuring compliance with Hotel’s Rules and Procedures; ensure quality in food products and services, assist in developing new concepts of services and methods.
Main responsibilities:
• Assist in planning, coordinating, controlling and supervising departmental activities;
• Provide assistance to the F&B Services Manager in developing, defining and reviewing the Departmental SOPs;
• Adhere to and assist in ensuring compliance with the Hotel’s Rules and Regulations, Standards and Procedures;
• Help in defining F&B standards and ensure quality in food products and services;
• Assist in developing new concepts of services and methods to achieve organizational objectives;
• Help in monitoring attendance, maintaining staff discipline and taking corrective measures.
Qualifications and profile:
• Higher School Certificate or equivalent;
• Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality Management or Equivalent from a recognised Institution;
• Experience in a similar field is essential;
• Dynamic, self-motivated and possess strong supervisory skills;
• Good communication and organisational skills;
• Should possess a pleasant and outgoing personality;
• Ability to work under pressure, should be available and reliable;
• Able and willing to perform odd hours of work including Sundays, public holidays and cyclonic days;
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
