We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical systems, be eager to learn, and ready to take on various maintenance tasks under the guidance of our experienced team

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair

    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize production downtime.
    • Conduct inspections and diagnostics on equipment to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
  2. Electrical Systems
    • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues using basic tools and diagnostic techniques.
  3. Installation & Upgrades

    • Assist in the installation, setup, and testing of new machinery and equipment.
    • Perform upgrades and modifications to existing equipment to improve efficiency and productivity.
  4. Safety & Compliance

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, complying with health and safety regulations.
    • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions to the maintenance supervisor.
  5. Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
    • Document and report any equipment performance issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
  6. Collaboration & Support

    • Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and address maintenance needs.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as required.
  7. General Maintenance Duties

    • Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, painting, and carpentry, as needed.
    • Assist with emergency maintenance and repairs outside of regular working hours when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent. Technical school training or an apprenticeship in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
    • Experience automated equipment is preferred.
    • Knowledge of welding, machining, and fabrication techniques is an advantage.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as electrical, or welding are beneficial.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environmental conditions.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Availability: Must be available for on-call work and willing to work overtime or shifts as required.
