Beachcomber Catering is looking for Maintenance Manager to join their Maintenance Team.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Plans short term and long term objectives of the Maintenance Department in collaboration with the management and organises the department according to management directives, in conformity with the business unit’s policies, procedures and standards.
  • Plans, coordinates, controls and supervises departmental issues.
  • Ensures that equipment and material are in good running conditions at all times and reports any malfunctioning for remedial actions & follow-up.
  • Plans for the installation of equipment and estimates extensive maintenance works and repairs.

Qualifications and profile:

  • BSc in Engineering or an equivalent qualification in the same field.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial position preferably with experience catering or hotel sector.
  • Knowledge of labour Occupational Safety & Health and other relevant legislation.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with strong experience in leading large technical teams.
  • A dynamic and charismatic leader with a hands on attitude and problem solving skills.
  • Solid communication skills to deal with team and with top management level.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to identify safety risks  and address them within the shortest delay.
