Maintenance Engineer (Electrical/Electronic

We are looking for a dynamic Maintenance Engineer with expertise in electrical, electronic, or mechatronics engineering to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure peak efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machines and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during maintenance activities.
  • Implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Assist in maintenance activities outside the clean room, such as air compressors or HVAC systems.
  • Liaise with foreign suppliers for assistance on complicated troubleshooting, intervention, or upgrades.
  • Conduct regular calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and documentation of equipment modifications.
  • Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance trends, and downtime analysis for continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in company projects or mini projects aimed at improving machines or optimizing maintenance processes.
  • Participate in different audits as required.
  • Develop a critical spare parts list and establish reorder levels.
  • Liaise with the storekeeper to ensure availability of critical spare parts.
  • Ensure all backup equipment/standards/critical items are readily available and ordered.
  • Maintain 5S in the store.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, or mechatronics engineering or relevant qualifications.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting automated systems and electronic devices.
  • Basic knowledge of ICT/programming (Timers, controllers, PLC, etc.).
  • Ability to liaise with foreign suppliers for remote troubleshooting, intervention, or upgrades.
  • Punctual, fast learning, responsible attitude.
  • Willingness to work on a shift system and under clean room conditions.
  • Availability to work outside normal working hours, as and when required.
