The appointed candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for our business.
The appointed candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns for our business. This includes but is not limited to; online and print campaign, email campaigns, a coordination and organization, working with international brands as per their guidelines, development of internal and external marketing materials, and all related administrative works.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement marketing strategies, as laid out by senior management/ Directors
- Prepare, plan and manage publication of all advertising materials to enhance brands’ and products visibility.
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products and/or services on a variety of media (social, digital, print, outdoor, radio, etc.)
- Work with 3rd party service providers (freelance partners, advertising agencies, copywriters, photographers, etc.) to ensure on-time delivery of collaterals.
- Enhance the company’s existing marketing & communication channels to ensure effectiveness in communication and marketing campaigns.
- Plan and manage internal marketing events, and work with external partners on shared marketing events where our brands and products are being showcased.
- Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness, including representing our company at events
- Write, edit and proofread marketing materials for use in different channels
- Oversee and update the websites in coordination with Digital marketing specialist or 3rd party service provider
- Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns, events, and other activities, and prepare measurement reports
- Write press releases and communiques
- Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies, to provide direction for future marketing campaigns and strategies, product selection and services.
- Manage the budgeting and administration of all marketing, advertising, promotion and events expenses, and related reports, including work on budget plans and reports for international brands represented.
- Work with other management team members in sales, product and brand sourcing, finance, and others, to identify areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, promotional activities, and customer service.
- Any other similar or cognate duties that may be assigned by the Directors/ Senior Management.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Management or relevant field, or equivalent work experience in the field (5+ years)
- Min. 2+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role
