Line Quality Controller

The Line Quality Controller has the authority to ask any employee of the Bottling Section to stop the production line in the event of any major product non-conformity and take the necessary corrections/corrective actions prior to resuming production.

Key/Primary Responsibilities

• To withdraw samples from the Bottling Line on a pre-determined basis and measure the volume contained in each sample. The Volume measured must be within set parameters.
• To retrieve samples from the Bottling Line on a pre-determined basis and verify if the packaging (Bottle, cap, cork, label, surcapsule, outer carton, canister, crate, and any related packaging material) complies with the Reference Sample.
• To perform line inspection during production to ensure clean glass bottles and raw materials (in good condition and respecting specifications) are used for bottling and packing purposes.
• Report to QSE Specialist on a daily, with checklist and Inspection sheets filled correctly and accordingly.
• Record any non-conformances/ non-compliances in inspection sheets, forms, excel or any other record sheets and inform supervisors immediately for corrective actions. Follow up to ensure that corrective actions are done.
• To inspect raw materials delivered by the Store Raws to the Bottling Section and record data.
• To verify that employees are abiding to good hygiene practices during bottling and packing and record for any non-compliances.
• To create reports on weekly and monthly basis for non-conformities and follow up with corrective actions.
