Our client in Montreal, Canada is looking for an Assistant Accountant urgently to work remotely in Mauritius from 16:00 to 01:00. This is a hybrid work from home position where you will be requested to attend office not more than 2 days a week.
Duties:
- Verify the content of each project document.
- Ensure the integrity of original documents.
- Use information retrieval systems to respond to queries and locate and retrieve documents according to established guidelines.
- Label, prepare, and transfer information files in accordance with procedures and schedules established for the document management lifecycle.
- Provide customer service by responding to requests.
- Contribute to various projects related to information management.
- Provide technical support to users by conducting research, identifying relevant documentation, and ensuring follow-up.
- Provide weekly Dashboard to Client on projects worked and summarize impact or potential threats.
- Using advanced AI, the Client enhance efficiency, improve risk management, and maximize ROI by simplifying and revolutionizing how data can become your greatest asset.
Requirements
- Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal) skills – English and French
- Demonstrate an ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to deal with difficult situations in a positive manner.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and duties according to deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in law or similar is desirable.
- Knowledge or exposure to various legal database or ERPs would be beneficial.
Package & Benefits
- Salary range between Rs28,000 to Rs35,000 depending on experience.
- Medical Insurance after probation of 6 months.
- Private Pension plan after 3 months.
