Laundry Manager

The Laundry Manager oversees all laundry operations, ensuring efficient workflow and staff management. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, while adhering to safety and health regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and enforce quality standards for all laundry services.
• Conduct regular inspections of laundered items to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to laundry services.
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies, including detergents and linens, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols and best practices.
• Hire, train, and evaluate laundry staff, providing ongoing coaching and support.
• Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
• Promote a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.

Candidate's profile:

• Diploma or equivalent degree in management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in similar position. 
• Fluent in communication in English and French.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
