We are currently looking for a reliable Logistics Coordinator who will have the following job responsibilities:

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinating the export process between the Employer and its clients.
  • Ensuring the proper communication between the Employer and its customers regarding their orders. You will be required to communicate to the client any technical, commercial, and financial aspect in relation to their orders.
  • Liaising with Government Authorities (for permit, export permit) and with private service providers (e.g. freight agents, transporters, broker, airline company) in relation to the export administrative processes. This includes:
    • preparation of export documents and permits for Mauritian and non-Mauritian stakeholders who are concerned with the client’s order
    • Coordinating the shipment of biological samples between the Employer and its customers
  • Recording new orders and carrying out appropriate follow-up of the orders. You will be required to:
    • Forward clients’ specifications to the operation team.
    • Ensure that the client specifications are well understood.
    • Check availability of animals with HOD.
    • Ensure that the order is correctly prepared.
    • Anticipate any change that can impact on clients’ order, notify the HOD of same and take appropriate corrective measures/s to mitigate the impact of said change.
  • Coordinating the shipment of biological samples between the Employer and its customers
  • Carrying out follow-up to evaluate clients' satisfaction following delivery of their order/s. This requires recording clients' complaints and ensuring Noveprim after sale service.
  • Ensure Export process is adhered to
  • Collaborate jointly with the concern departments for prior and post shipment procedures
  • Periodically provide all stock related reports.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Support in administrative tasks such as archiving of files, order of stationaries, participate in documents checks and any other related task

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Education: Professional qualification in Business Logistic, supply chain management or an equivalent will constitute an advantage.
  • Experience: 3-5  years experience in similar position.
  • Valid Driving License
  • Other: Good knowledge of international shipping and export regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good interpersonal and effective communication skills.
  • Discipline and act as a role model.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team environment.
