The Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily activities, safety, and well-being of children participating in the kids' club program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Children:
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Lead and engage children in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, sports, and educational activities.
- Provide appropriate guidance and discipline to children, ensuring a positive environment.
- Plan and Organize Activities:
- Design and implement fun, age-appropriate activities and programs.
- Tailor activities to different age groups and interests.
- Ensure that all activities are aligned with safety guidelines.
- Always enhance in innovative activities
- Design kid’s shows 3 times a year and a big show for festive season.
- Design educational activities indoor and outdoor.
- Design activities for summer and winter camp.
- Manage Staff:
- Supervise and assist in training staff or volunteers, ensuring adherence to safety policies and high-quality standards.
- Delegate responsibilities to other staff as needed, ensuring smooth operation of the kids' club.
- Foster teamwork and cooperation among staff members.
- Adequate training for staff members.
- Safety & Security:
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor the health and behavior of the children, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Ensure that all emergency procedures are followed and that staff are trained in these protocols.
- Customer Service:
- Communicate with parents/guardians about children's progress, activities, and any incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from families.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and families.
- Administrative Duties:
- Keep accurate records of attendance, incident reports, and any relevant communication with parents.
- Ensure that supplies and equipment are maintained, cleaned, and replaced as needed.
- Rostering and constant training for improvement
- Professional Development:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in children's programs and recreational activities.
- Attend training sessions and workshops as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Childcare training
- Previous experience working with children in a recreational or educational setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and manage fun, engaging activities for children.
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain).
- A positive, energetic, and patient attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background check clearance (as required by local laws or organization policies).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to actively participate in physical activities, including games and outdoor activities.
- Ability to lift or carry light to moderate items (e.g., sports equipment, toys).
Work Environment:
- The position may require work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the needs of the kids' club program.
