Our client in the retail sector is seeking to recruit a Junior Interior Designer who will report to the Commercial Manager- Retail.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Merchandising department to develop design solutions.
- Research concepts and materials to support design team on technical issues influencing concept development.
- Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion.
- Understand the group identity and create 2D designs through CAD software for display, projects and other in-house event purpose.
- Produce 3D Models using CAD & BIM Software and analyse feasibility of artefact/structure/product for realisation purpose.
- Produce 3D virtual reality visit of spaces, display and artefact for live presentation visit.
- Create rendered still pictures and animation video to handle to customer.
- Seek for quotation from several builders for quality & price comparison.
- Meet builders for project discussion.
- Assist the colleagues in the various projects.
- Provide prompt customer service to internal and external customers.
- Organise outdoor events for the group.
- Nurture good relationships with the external stakeholders, including suppliers, architects and printing bodies.
- Report any hazardous incidents or issues to your superior.
- Ensure that you are well equipped to work in a safe environment and wear company uniform and any safety material provided.
- Adhere to the approved and established procedures and to the company's terms and conditions of service.
Profile:
- Diploma in Interior Design.
- Bachelor Degree in Interior Design.
- At least 2 years experience in Interior Designing & 3D rendering.
- At least 3 years in similar position.
- Strong knowledge of building techniques for wood, concrete & metal.
- Strong knowledge in Interior Designing & Architecture Software.
- Knowledge in Graphic Design Software.
- Good writing in English & French.
- Communication and Negotiating skills.
- Team spirit.

- Ability to work on tight schedule.
