JUNIOR COST ENGINEER

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cost Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in cost management, tendering, and project monitoring to ensure efficient and accurate financial oversight on construction and fit-out projects.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cost Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in cost management, tendering, and project monitoring to ensure efficient and accurate financial oversight on construction and fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take off quantities and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

• Assist the sales team with tender submissions and site measurements

• Source and evaluate quotations for fit-out items

• Assist in the appointment of subcontractors and prepare fortnightly payment certificates

• Liaise with the operations team to track work progress

• Prepare and submit claims, and follow up on certification

• Monitor and control project costs throughout the project lifecycle

Profile:

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• At least 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates may be considered)

• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and QS software is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication and teamwork abilities
