About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Audit Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing data to support internal audit activities, ensuring compliance, and identifying areas for improvement.

About the team:

The Group Internal Audit department is centrally positioned at the level of SD Worx NV in order to ensure independence, consistency & continuity of audit activities for the SD Worx NV, Worxinvest NV and its underlying entities.

The Group Internal Audit department functionally reports to the Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee and administratively to the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The mission of the Group Internal Audit department is to provide assurance and advice to the SD Worx Group Board of Directors and Executive Committee on the effectiveness and efficiency of its risk management and internal controls through the execution of independent audit missions in an ethical, constructive and cost efficient manner. Group Internal Audit aims to be a best-in-class internal audit function recognized by the SD Worx Group Board of Directors and Executive Committee as a reliable and trusted business partner that supports the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives in a risk-controlled manner.

Which tasks can you expect?

• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Collaborate with the Group Internal Audit team to provide data-driven insights.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management. Establish dashboards that are re-useable for the business.
• Set-up of internal audit testing environment linked with the corporate master data model.
• Identify areas for smart automation of repetitive tasks.
• Keep-up with the market by researching and evaluating new data sources, tools, methods, or best practices to enhance the data capabilities and value of the internal audit function.

What do you have to offer?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an audit or compliance environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBi, SQL, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with developing AI tools and smart automation is a plus.
• Having or willing to obtain professional certification such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate/ Azure Data Scientist Associate, Google Data Analytics Certificate, Cloudera Certified Associate Data Analyst…
• Experience with working in an international environment, preferably in the services industry;
• Team player who is motivated to take on an active role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the team;
• Acting according to our values;
• Proficient in English. Knowledge of another major European language is an add-on;
