Will be assisting full import process for a shipment, from start to finish. Will liaise with overseas offices, partners and agents.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Follow up of orders (Metro & Interdecor) sent to suppliers by the Managing Director
- Follow up of Preloading List, verification of BL, Proforma Invoice, HS codes, Duty, Material & Brand (Metro & Interdecor)
- Prepare Insurance related documentation for Metro & Interdecor
- Communicating with the Account Department with regards to TT to suppliers
- Liaise with brokers for HS Code
- Preparation of Final Invoice & Packing List
- Work out Costing, Bill of Entry and Product info with Managing Directors.
- Work Metro & Interdecor costs with team
- Check goods at Store & Warehouses after delivery of containers
- Update forecast and Prepare Summary & Imports Summary for year
- Any assigned duty by the Managing Director or his representatives.
Profile:
- Minimum HSC or equivalent qualification
- Computer Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Working experience in a Logistics or similar environment is an advantage
- Dynamic, detail conscious and well organized
- Rigorous and disciplined
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with assertiveness
- A reliable, Team player and a "Can Do" attitude
- Any other cognate duties
