The IT System Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT infrastructure for our customer base. This includes managing servers, networks, storage systems, virtualization, security, backups, and replication of critical IT systems. The successful candidate will ensure that these systems remain highly available, secure, and perform optimally.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management: Design, configure, install, monitor, and maintain business-critical IT solutions.
• Network Management: Set up and manage networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• System Administration: Ensure system security, perform updates, monitor health, and troubleshoot issues.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct capacity planning, implement system enhancements, and optimize resource utilization.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security protocols, perform risk assessments, manage backup solutions, and develop disaster recovery plans.
• Customer Support & Service Excellence: Provide professional and customer-focused IT support while ensuring compliance with SLAs.
• Project Delivery: Contribute to end-to-end project execution, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and pursue relevant certifications to enhance expertise.

Candidates Profile

• Degree holder in IT or related field with a Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT System Engineer or in a similar IT infrastructure role.
• Good hands-on experience with:
  • Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) and Exchange on-premise (2016, 2019).
  • Linux distributions (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
  • VMware vSphere and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
  • Microsoft 365 & Azure (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Defender for Endpoint).
  • Backup solutions, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration.
  • Network configuration, firewall management, and IT security measures.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) for proactive issue resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
