Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced IT Manager with specialized expertise in Microsoft Dynamics ERP. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of our ERP environment, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and optimized performance. This role will require strong project management skills, in-depth technical knowledge of Dynamics modules, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics solutions in alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the ERP roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall IT and business strategies.
Project Management
- Plan and manage ERP-related projects, including upgrades, integrations, and customizations
- Develop project charters, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements; track and report progress to stakeholders.
System Administration & Support
- Oversee the daily operation, performance, and security of the ERP system, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure timely issue resolution and support end-users by establishing clear service level agreements (SLAs) and support procedures.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation within Dynamics.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and user experience; conduct regular system audits and optimizations.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including business analysts, developers, and support staff.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and identify training needs to build a high-performing ERP support team.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external Microsoft Dynamics partners and other technology vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, licenses, and service-level agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure the ERP environment meets security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, etc.).
- Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and maintain data integrity.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor system performance, user adoption, and project status.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership for data-driven decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing ERP systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end ERP implementations or migrations.
Technical Skills:
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.).
- Solid understanding of SQL databases, system integrations (API, EDI), and related technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure) and virtualization technologies.
Management Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading IT teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.
