Support computer users in the operation, enhancement, and problem solving of various software packages, Oversee the installation and enhancement of software packages and hardware in the hotel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to hotel staff, addressing software, hardware, and network issues.
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems, network equipment, and telecommunication systems.
- Maintain knowledge of key hotel software systems (PMS, POS, etc.) and troubleshoot related issues as they arise.
- Perform routine checks and updates on hardware and software to ensure they are secure and functioning optimally.
- Manage user access, permissions, and hotel-wide configurations.
- Oversee backups, antivirus, and other security measures to protect the hotel’s data.
- Ensure that network connectivity meets the demands of hotel operations and guest expectations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT equipment and software licenses.
- Assist with guest-related IT requests, ensuring timely support for connectivity or device issues.
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in system troubleshooting, and experience with hotel management software (e.g., PMS, POS).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work well under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
