Job Profile
Rey & Lenferna Technologies is looking for an ICT Technician specialised in Networking to provide technical assistance, service, and support to end-clients.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Network Infrastructure and End-Points to meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, both remotely and on-site
- Participate and assist in ICT & Network projects, including system upgrades, network expansion, and software rollouts
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access and potential threats.
- Monitor and maintain cabling infrastructure, network & security equipment, and end-points to ensure smooth functionality.
- Monitor network performance and recommend improvements and upgrades.
- Perform any other cognate duties as assigned by the Head of Department or Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude
- Familiarity with Network & Security devices and Voice over IP (VOIP) systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and learn new tools and techniques quickly.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and task execution.
