Our client in the property sector is seeking to recruit a dynamic Human Resources Manager who will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify documents including contracts, job descriptions, correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, emails and presentations etc.
- Develop and maintain the internal communication and serve as link between management and employees to create synergies and keep staff well and regularly informed & engaged.
- Ensure proper functioning of the departments and provide supervision to direct subordinates.
- Maintain profound knowledge of legal requirements and regulations affecting the HR function and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Plan and manage recruitment and assist in the selection of staff.
- Conduct induction/orientation to new employees.
- Evaluate existing procedures and develop, implement and administer human resources policies and procedures and maintain employee handbook.
- Administer compensation & benefits including Medical Scheme, Pension Fund etc.
- Analyse internal compensation and benefit practices and ensure to be in line with company policies, legislation and market practices.
- Actively participate in the annual salary review exercise, administer cost to company and produce HR budget
- Process and maintain the payroll and compute NPF/PAYE returns.
- Implement, manage and monitor performance management system including evaluations and feedback.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters, handle employee complaints, grievances and disputes.
- Identify and manage training and development needs for employees.
- Maintain employee personal files.
- Coordinate employee safety and welfare.
- Supervise the file of vacation and sick leave.
- Act as member of committees for arising events or project whenever designated.
- Help with CSR actions and administration.
Profile:
- A degree in business / management / human resources.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (French & English) are essential.
- Respect strict confidentiality.
- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong sense of flexibility, agility and adaptability.
- Ability to work and produce high quality under pressure and/or stress.
- Demonstrate project management and time management skills.
- Self motivated with a positive and professional approach.
