To actively participate in the co-ordination of activities, with the aim of ensuring team members’ welfare, and to provide the HR Manager, Assistant HR Manager and HR Co-Ordinator with required assistance to ensure the professional execution of HR Operations.

 

•Strong analytical skills to manage HR metric and provide data driven insights.
•Keeps track of any overtime and/or casual labour on a regular/monthly basis and informs Superiors.
•Closely monitors a high standard of Hygiene, Sanitation and Safety for all Departments in concert with the Health & Safety Officer.
•Ensures that all team members obtain transportation facilities, their uniforms, shoes and badges.
•Efficiently implements all SOP(s) pertaining to personnel management and staff issues as instructed by the HR Manager.
•Carries out the annual employee satisfaction survey, and writes a report based on the survey.
•Prepares and co-ordinates the staff party.
•Prepares annual reports based on performance appraisal.
•Assists in conducting surveys to determine employee satisfaction with job duties, wages and salary packages, and working conditions.
•Converses with team members whenever possible to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement.
•Liaises with HODs to maintain pay-roll costs within budget.
•Transmits any instructions or decision taken by the HR Manager to team members and staff as instructed.
•Assists the Assistant HR Manager in processing pay rolls through the SICORAX software.
•Actively participates in the processing, calculation and verification of pay rolls.
•Administers cash payments and prepares related documents after pay day.
•Assists the HR Co-ordinator in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and cleanliness of the staff canteen, quarters and locker rooms.
•Assists the HR Co-ordinator in providing on a monthly basis, details of pay-roll costs and special notice to HODs who have exceeded budgeted figures.
•Undertakes the accurate and timely execution of pay-roll activities.
•Implements pay-roll changes according to instructions.
•Assists in distributing pay-slips, administering cash payments and preparing related documents after pay day.
