The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housekeeping operations, ensuring that rooms, public spaces, and other areas of the facility are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cleaning activities in guest rooms, hallways, elevators, public spaces, and other areas.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff based on workload and priority, ensuring all areas are covered.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss housekeeping protocols, procedures, and guest feedback.
- Ensure that all housekeeping operations comply with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
- Adhere to environmental guidelines and promote the use of eco-friendly cleaning supplies where applicable.
- Ensure housekeeping areas are maintained in a safe and clean manner, reducing the risk of accidents or injuries.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities, guest requests, supply orders, and maintenance issues.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports on housekeeping performance, including staff attendance, cleaning completion rates, and supply usage.
- Review guest feedback and ratings related to cleanliness, working with the team to resolve any issues and improve the guest experience.
Candidate profile's:
- NC3 in Housekeeping or any other related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in similar position.
- Fluency in both spoken and written French and English.
