Our Client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Health & Safety Officer (Part-Time).
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular site visits with follow-up action plans and site visit reports.
• Carry out incident, accident & near misses’ investigations, analysis and mitigation actions.
• Oversee health & safety matters for expatriates.
• Coordinate risk assessments and make recommendations.
• Analyse incident data to identify trends in injuries, illnesses, accidents, or other hazards.
• Identify potentially hazards conditions or equipment and propose remedial measures.
• Provide new-employee health and safety orientations and develop materials for these
presentations.
• Investigate and assist in health & safety-related complaints.
• Ensure that due diligence checks are carried out on all contractors.
• Coordinate and propose health & safety programs for employees.
• Maintain or update emergency response plans or procedures.
• Participate in the implementation and update of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to H&S policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle any other health & safety duties.
Qualifications & Main Skills:
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Relevant demonstrable experience in a similar role and registered.
• Experience in manufacturing sector shall be a definite advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of health & safety legislations and ISO 9001 standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
