C-Care, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group, owning and operating healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné and C-Care Wellkin, C-Care Grand Baie and C-Care Tamarin. C-Care also owns and manages C-Lab.
C-Care is currently looking for Health Care Assistant to provide round the clock observations and care.
What you will be doing:
- Carry out any activity in connection with personal hygiene and welfare of patients
- Assist patients in activity of daily things
- Making of beds and special beds
- Always maintain a safe environment for patients
- Perform vital signs and ECG
- Pre-operative preparation of patients e.g. shaving, ensuring consent form is signed
- Serving of meals and assist in feeding of patients whenever required
- Assist in giving continence care
- Assist in caring for the unconscious patient
- Pressure area care referring to ward protocol
- Clean, sterilize and good maintenance of equipment
- Preparing dressing materials for sterilization.
- Assist nursing personnel in nursing procedures and working together as a team
What are we looking for?
- Diploma in Healthcare or Basic Certificate in Healthcare assistance can be accepted if the applicant has acquired past experience.
- Knowledge of Nursing standards and protocols
- Able to understand medical prescriptions, IT knowledge, roster adherence.
