The Head of Quality Assurance oversees and ensures the consistent delivery of high-quality services, sustainability practices, and guest satisfaction across multiple hotels within the group Beau Vallon Hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Group-Wide Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement standardized quality assurance protocols across all hotels within the group.
- Conduct regular property inspections and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards, HACCP guidelines, and guest satisfaction goals.
- Provide recommendations and action plans to address inconsistencies or areas requiring improvement.
Sustainability Initiatives:
- Implement group-wide sustainability programs to reduce energy, water usage, and waste while promoting eco-friendly practices.
- Track and report sustainability performance across all hotels, ensuring compliance with relevant certifications (e.g ISO 14001, Green Key, EarthCheck).
- Provide training and resources to property-level teams to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
HACCP Compliance and Food Safety:
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of HACCP plans across all food and beverage operations within the group.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all hotels address critical control points (CCPs) effectively.
- Standardize food safety procedures across the properties and ensure regular inspections are conducted.
Guest Experience and Satisfaction:
- Enhance guest satisfaction across the group by analysing feedback, survey results, and online reviews for each property.
- Identify group-wide trends and implement targeted improvements to address common challenges.
- Work with property managers to develop guest-centric initiatives that enhance the overall experience and maintain brand loyalty.
Auditing and Compliance:
- Conduct regular quality audits for all hotels and provide detailed reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, as well as internal brand standards.
Collaboration and Training:
- Partner with General Managers and department heads across properties to address quality, food safety, and sustainability challenges.
- Design and deliver group-wide training programs to enhance team performance and ensure consistent implementation standards.
Reporting and Strategy:
- Provide the COO with detailed reports on quality performance, HACCP compliance, sustainability metrics, and guest satisfaction trends across all properties.
- Collaborate with the COO to Develop strategic initiatives to maintain the group's reputation for excellence and align with long-term goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Environmental Science, Food Safety, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, sustainability, or management within hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, food safety regulations, sustainability principles, and industry standards
- Certification in quality systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14000) will be an advantage.
