Our Client is seeking to recruit a Head of Operations for its operation.

 

Responsibilities:

. To plan and control logistics, warehousing, production and maintenance operations of the company.

. To plan and monitor property / assets maintenance policies and standards of the company and of its sister company.

. To lead, motivate, coach a team of subordinates and perform performance appraisal in line with set KPI's.

. Ensure optimal conditions for proper induction, training & development of subordinates.

. Apply effective problem-solving techniques to matters arising.

. To continuously analyse data, metrics and process flow to optimise output.

. To oversee and optimise order and delivery cycles.

. To show rigour in dealing with control aspects of operations.

. To meet costs and productivity targets of operations.

. To oversee daily distribution plan and continuously assess its effectiveness in view of improving customer service.

. To monitor procurement of material, stationery and other supplies for the proper running of the operation.

. To ensure proper implementation of company procedures across the value chain.

. To ensure compliance with prevailing laws & regulations.

. Exercise authority & responsibility in dealing with safety & quality matters.

. To monitor cost effective utilisation of space within warehouses.

. To oversee activities ensuring completeness, and timely flow of stock related documents & relevant reports.

. Work closely with Accounts Department to set & apply physical inventories procedures.

. Ensure compliance with the company's Food safety policy and norms.

. Any other cognate duties.

 

Profile:

. HSC

. Degree in Management / Supply Chain, preferably with O & M/Engineering background.

. At least 4 to 5 years' experience  in a similar position.

. Computer literate.

. Strong Analytical & Interpersonal skills.

. Knowledge of ERP.

. Demonstrate sound leadership & team building skills.

. Knowledge of Supply Chain & Assets maintenance principles.

. Ability to work under pressure and apply sound problem solving techniques.
